About

Having served 12 adrenalin fueled years in the Royal Marine Commandos, I decided to pursue my other true passion – action sports photography. Twenty-two years later I am still living the dream!

Fifteen years ago I was struck by the combination of the skilled horsemanship and unquestionable grace that can be found on every polo pitch and in every polo match across the globe. It was and remains an inspiration to how I have endeavored to capture the ‘sport of kings’ – illustrating the magic and mystery in an honest and representative exposure. It has quite simply been a love affair for almost 2 decades.

I have travelled around the world with this wonderful sport. From the green fields of the English countryside to the sun drenched pitches in Australia and Spain and beyond, to the snowy grounds of Switzerland and China, I never tire of this, the most thrilling of sports.

There is no better way to spend an afternoon than with a warm breeze on your back, deep blue skies above and the musical timbre of galloping hooves the only sound to resonate through the air, as fearless riders ‘do battle’ on a polo field.
